Negotiations with the landlords about the terms of the new tenancy are continuing. We are being advised by our solicitors Hugh James and are actively reviewing whether we need to trigger the court process as a means of getting a fair deal for the club. The good news is that we know that the immediate short-term future of the club is secure.
Our recent EGM gave overwhelming support to the committee to incur expenditure by going to court if necessary. We have also held a very well-attended event for our neighbours and continue to receive much-valued support from that quarter.
We are very confident that we can get better terms than those currently on offer and will continue to keep you informed.
