The Club’s Annual General Meeting which will take place on Thursday 31st January from 8pm in the Clubhouse. The AGM is the opportunity for members to hear about the work of the committee over the last 12 months and critically, to get an update on the situation with the lease.
There are still opportunities to join the committee and contribute to the running of the club. If you wish to nominate a club member for a vacant post, you should get their agreement before putting forward his or her name. If you are willing to volunteer to fill a vacancy yourself but cannot attend the meeting, please inform a committee member who will ensure that your name is put forward for election. Nominations for members who have not held posts previously at WTC or who have not held a post of any kind in the last year or two are particularly welcome. Nominations should be sent to the club chairman, Mike Lubienski (email@example.com), or to the club secretary, Dave Walton ( firstname.lastname@example.org) at least 7 days before the AGM.
Additionally, if you have any suggestions for changes to club rules these need to be sent to the club chairman, Mike Lubienski, in writing at least seven days before the meeting.
The bar will be open and we are offering a free drink to all WTC members attending.
