The Entry Lists for the Club Autumn Tournaments are now up in the Clubhouse foyer. Our Autumn Finals Day is scheduled for Sunday 8 November, which is later than usual to avoid congestion with the Autumn League fixtures and something called the Rugby World Cup. The tournaments are as follows.
Hailey Cup – open to men and boys who have not won it previously
Parkinson Cup – open to ladies and girls who have not won it previously
over 35’s Mens Singles
over 45’s Mens Singles
over 35’s Mens Doubles
over 40’s Ladies Singles
over 35’s Ladies Doubles
over 35’s Mixed Doubles
It’s £1.50 to enter each event. The more entries, the better the tournament! Get your name down asap! If you can’t get to the Clubhouse and want to enter, or want further details, please contact Tournament Secretary Steve Cumines on 07503 158957.
P.S. – the format for over 35 Mens Doubles is the same as last year. Everyone enters as an individual and Steve will pair players up to make all the pairs as even as possible. So get your name down asap.
